The 3'-terminal exon of variant 3 contains a longer ORF which can potentially encode a protein (called isoform 3.2) that matches the C-terminus of isoform 2; however, this protein is not predicted to be translated because the ORF is overlapped by the upstream ORF encoding isoform 3. |
